2. How to Submit a Takedown Notice

6 Signature

Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised representative.

3. Counter-Notice Procedure

If your content was removed in error, submit a counter-notice to ··· including:

  • Your name, address, telephone, and email
  • The exact URL of the removed content
  • Statement under penalty of perjury that removal was by mistake or misidentification
  • Consent to jurisdiction of courts of England and Wales
  • Acceptance of service of process from the original complainant
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-notices are processed within 14 business days.

4. Repeat Infringers

  • Warnings issued to first offenders
  • Temporary suspension for repeat offenders
  • Permanent termination after three (3) valid strikes
  • IP blocking for persistent infringers

5. False Notices

WARNING: Submitting a false DMCA notice may result in legal liability under the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and DMCA 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including claims for damages and legal costs.
